Groomer Report
3/17/2026 GTASC – Trail Report: My how trail conditions have changed in the last few days. Trails are in excellent shape right now. It is a crazy amount of snow and ice in just a few days.I think we received 17+ inches of snow. The club groomed the north and east trail last night in the snow storm. Today we will be going out again and do what we can. Stay safe and stay on the right hand side of the trail. That’s all for now. Steve H.
3/3/2026 GTASC – Trail Report: Poor trail conditions right now. They are icy with icy moguls in some spots and flat and icy in others. Right now we have 1″ of ice chips on top of an ice base. Grooming is on hold and it does not look like we will be getting anything to bring this back. Temps in the 40’s and 50’s this week with rain on Thursday/Friday. Kalkaska to our east and Benzie to our West has more snow and where grooming in the past few days so I would try riding there before riding the Traverse City trails. That’s all for now. Steve H.
2/25/2026 GTASC – Trail Report: Trails are still in great shape. We are going out to groom the trails Wednesday and Thursday to prepare for the weekend. Right now we have 2″-4″ of snow on top of an ice base. Hopefully we can groom into the first week of March. Stay safe and stay on the right hand side of the trail. That’s all for now. Steve H.
2/23/2026 GTASC – Trail Report: Trails are in excellent shape right now. There are a few small moguls on the trails but there is not enough snow to create large moguls. We are not able to groom the trails until we get more snow. Right now we have 2″ of snow on top of an ice base. Stay safe and stay on the right hand side of the trail. That’s all for now. Steve H.
2/12/2026 GTASC – Trail Report: Trails are in excellent shape right now…but we have a warming trend starting at noon on Friday the 13th and running until Thursday the 19th before it cools off again. It will be 40+ degrees everyday. We will not be grooming the trails after Friday Feb 13th until it cools off again. Stay safe and stay on the right hand side of the trail. That’s all for now. Steve H.
We now have groomer tracker installed on 3 of our power units. Sign up to get up to date grooming information. This is a small way to help support the trails you ride.

Ride safe and ride sober!! Remember to watch for groomers. You never know when one will be coming around a corner or over a hill. Also, remember that the signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the safety of snowmobilers, so please don’t remove them.
