About Us

Representing Your Rights. Protecting Your Trails. Preserving Your Recreation.

The Michigan Snowmobile & ORV Association (MISORVA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, promoting, and advancing motorized recreation throughout Michigan. As the voice of snowmobilers and ORV riders, MISORVA works year-round to ensure riders have representation at the decision-making tables that affect recreation.

MISORVA advocates on behalf of Michigan’s riders at the local, state, and federal levels. Through legislative engagement, agency oversight, and participation in advisory committees, we monitor regulations, proposed legislation, and policies that impact trail access, funding, and the future of motorized recreation.

Michigan’s trail programs are funded by users, and MISORVA works to ensure those funds are used responsibly and effectively. We maintain a strong presence in discussions involving trail management, funding transparency, access issues, and recreational opportunities.

MISORVA supports and promotes:

  • Protection and preservation of trail access
  • Responsible and safe riding practices
  • Youth safety education and training
  • Strong partnerships with clubs, communities, and land managers
  • Environmental stewardship and responsible recreation
  • Legislative advocacy and rider representation
  • Trail maintenance, improvement, and long-term sustainability

Members receive regular updates through Fresh Tracks’ monthly newsletter, keeping them informed on legislation, trail issues, events, and developments affecting their recreation.

Beyond advocacy, MISORVA brings riders together through events, rides, conventions, campouts, and trail stops that foster friendships and strengthen Michigan’s motorized recreation community.

Motorized recreation faces ongoing challenges. Protecting access, preserving funding, and ensuring future opportunities require a unified voice. By supporting MISORVA, riders help ensure that snowmobiling and ORV recreation remain strong for generations to come.

If you ride, your membership matters. Together, we protect the future of motorized recreation in Michigan.
