Groomer Report
TRAIL REPORT 27 Jan 2022:
New snow makes the base grow!
41: good coverage, slight chop on bridge approaches during high traffic times.
2west: building the base leaving Manistique, coverage is solid and most of the holes are getting flattened out. Still would benefit from THROTTLE CONTROL in and out of corners.
7 from 2west junction: good. Some “snirt” and trail rock in approaches but otherwise good to excellent going north to 413 junction and excellent from 413 junction to 411 junction.
413: good to excellent coverage throughout. PLEASE mind your THROTTLE RESPONSE in the tighter corners; each berm repaired takes multiple passes with blade/drag work.
2East: excellent coverage. Three separate areas of logging ops. marked and active out to 421 junction.
421: solid coverage into Gulliver Crossroads.
2 East Bear Creek Swamp(BCS) to Blaney: BCS is officially closed until a Groomer can navigate /pack in the trail SAFELY/completely..
Recon runs have established a track through, but the trail has not been attempted by groomers.
